Originally from the central coast of California, Andrew played water polo and swam competitively at the high school varsity level. He first began playing with the local Hampton Roads Masters team in 2010 and is currently the overall coordinator for the Masters team. He has been coaching and officiating water polo since 2022. A lifelong aquatics devotee, he seeks to develop players in three areas: knowledge of the sport, athleticism, and sportsmanship. In 2023, after more than 21 years of service, Andrew retired from the US Navy.

Coach Gunnar has been with COVA Water Polo since August 2025 and is originally from Fremont, CA. He grew up playing and coaching water polo in California, and played at the University of Arizona. He wants to grow the game of water polo, and build better athletes and leaders in and out of the pool.
